Virtual pager use cases: restaurants, cafés, clinics and service counters
A virtual pager turns the customer's phone into a buzzer. Here is where IntelliBeeper fits: food service, clinics, queues and any counter where people wait.
What a virtual pager replaces
Plastic buzzers must be bought, charged, cleaned, counted and replaced when customers walk off with them. A virtual pager removes the hardware: the customer scans a QR code, gets a number on their phone, and the phone rings when it is their turn.
IntelliBeeper works in the phone browser, so there is no app to install. It supports Arabic, French and English.

At a busy counter, customers order, scan the QR code and are free to sit, queue elsewhere or browse your digital menu. When the kitchen finishes, their phone rings. Connected to IntelliPOS and its kitchen display, the alert fires when every station has completed the order, so a burger does not ring before the fries are ready.
Cafés and takeaway counters
Takeaway customers no longer crowd the pick-up area. A wall display shows numbers being prepared and numbers ready, and the cashier can ring a customer again from any phone if the first alert was missed.
Clinics, medical offices and waiting rooms
In clinic mode the message becomes "It's your turn" and the phone shows the room or doctor. Patients can wait in their car or nearby rather than in a full waiting room. It connects to IntelliClinic, so the reception calls the next patient and the phone rings.
Administrations and service counters
Agencies and public counters can use the same idea for ticketed queues. Connected to IntelliQueue, the ticket machine shows a QR code, and when a desk calls the next number the customer's phone rings with the counter number.
Connecting it to your system
Without any POS, the cashier uses a private link on a phone to issue numbers and mark orders ready. With a POS, a REST API and webhooks let your system create an order and ring the customer automatically. On iPhone, the web notification alert needs the page added to the home screen (iOS 16.4 or later); otherwise the page beeps and vibrates while it is open.
